Process

At The Natural Room, we work closely with you to design and craft your piece of furniture to your specific individual requirements.

It starts with determining your requirements such as dimensions, function and materials required. We then provide you with a concept design drawing of what your item will look like for you to review. Once all of the elements have been approved, we move to a 3-Dimensional drawing which really brings the design to life.

The final processes is the build.Furniture is labour intensive, selecting the timber is the start of the process. Matching boards to ensure colours and grains are compatible, then the construction process begins. Every stick of timber is different and unique and so is the process of construction to enable us to get the very best from the timber. Making beautiful furniture really well  takes time and  is labour intensive, but it will literally last a lifetime”.
